Guess what band has 8 freshly mixed and mastered songs they are just dying to release? Yes it is us. Obviously. But we are trying something new this time and seeing if anyone actually wants to help us out and release this thing. Working with a label of some kind would be different. We will see if we can make that happen.
So no other announcements for now. If we can't get anyone to bite for a month or two, then we will just put it out ourselves as usual. Keep an eye out for any news about that.
The reason that blogs die is because people forget about them. I'll do my best to keep this one alive!

And that is it really. Our new years resolution is to play a show in NYC. Somehow we haven't done that yet (well besides Punk Island but that is kind of its own unique thing). Hope to see you out there!

I finished uploaded all the pics of us we have from 2021. I don't really know what I was thinking with the whole armband thing. Well actually I do, but I just don't like to admit it sometimes. Here's the gist: I was inspired to make them from seeing reporters, cops, athletes, and pilots wearing them in anime. We were going for kind of a secret government agency vibe at the time so it fit with the theoretical look. I know they are mainly correlated with a certain German fascist movement, but they are kind of standard in official settings throughout the world. Still, people weren't really into it and also we got lazy so gave up on all that. I had a crazy idea that we would sell the armbands and we would make new ones every year and people could collect them. In my dream scenario there would be fans showing up wearing multiple armbands from previous years to show how long they had been fans. It would be a way for the OGs to show off how long they had been around to the youngins. Or just a fun memento/token outside of the standard t-shirt. Also it would inspire cult-like behavior and I have always wanted to lead a cult.
Anyway if you want armband we do technically still sell them. Let me know if you want to join the cult one! See ya in the Poconos!

I added in a photo section today where I intend to dump every photo of us I can find whether they be good, bad, or ugly. I think it is important to keep these kind of memories around and publicly accessible. So far I have 3 galleries from 2021 posted and will work on adding more over time.
Also: hey we have some shows! We are playing at the Chubby Pickle on 6/6 and are taking part in the Punk Island fest on 6/8! We have one other thing on deck for May but haven't fully confirmed it so can't say anything yet. Hopefully I can post about that soon as it is very cool.

Hiya! Made some slight updates to the site today. You can see that we made an attempt at making a press kit, so feel free to check that out. We also have some more shows booked but can't announce them yet. We are waiting on other parties to confirm some things first. Outside of that: the writing continues and recording will be underway soon. I'm also planning to start adding a lot more to this site such as old photos and flyers and such. Keep an eye on this space if you care about that sort of thing!

Heya. Look we made a website. And a blog too! It feels like 2005 in here. Anyway, we will probably still mostly post on instagram because that is easier to keep updated/we are owned by Zuc, but I will be making a concerted effort to update this site and make it the eternal shrine to all things Meteor Police that the world deserves. As for actual band news: we have 2 shows coming up and are working on possibly playing some gigs in Las Vegas around the same time the Best Friends Forever Fest is happening. Dustin and I will already be there, so might as well drag Bill and Justin along and try to get a gig or two. We will see how that goes!
Oh and we are almost done writing the next album. We wanted to be recording already but are still tweaking the songs/adding bells and whistles to them. That way we can enter the studio and knock em out in like 2 or 3 sessions. For NTD we wasted a lot of time/money on experimentation and editing and we are trying to do all that before we go into the studio this time. We will see how that goes. Expect more on that topic by the summer I would think.
